The P3A Project is located in parts of the southern districts of Jeddah, west of Al-Laith Road, and aims to strengthen the infrastructure of the city’s drinking water networks in accordance with approved plans and specifications. The project involves the construction of main water lines using C-Class Ductile Iron (DI) pipes with diameters ranging from 400 mm to 1,200 mm, totaling approximately 7 kilometers, along with all necessary accessories including valves and flow meters housed within reinforced concrete chambers. The scope also includes earthworks and surface restoration, as well as the installation of various lengths and diameters of DI pipes with inspection chambers, fittings, and valves as follows: 400 mm diameter pipes – 700 meters, 600 mm – 1,250 meters, 1,000 mm – 2,600 meters, and 1,200 mm – 2,450 meters. Additionally, thrust boring works for 1,000 mm diameter pipes totaling 45 meters are included to ensure efficient network operation and the sustainable delivery of services to the residents of the area.
